Linda Gyorki – Supervised
Workplace Trainee
Linda graduated from Monash University in 2008 with Honours in both her Law
and Arts degrees. During her degrees, Linda undertook internships at Human
Rights First in New York as well as at the Cape York Institute for Policy
and Leadership in Cairns.
Whilst studying, Linda assisted in writing the following publication: Sarah
Joseph, Carin Benninger-Budel, Katie Mitchell and Linda Gyorki. World Organisation
Against Torture (OMCT) Handbook Series. Volume 4: Seeking Remedies for Torture
Victims: A Handbook on the Individual Complaints Procedures of the UN Treaty
Bodies, November 2006.
Linda is currently undertaking her traineeship at Ryan Carlisle Thomas. In
her work at Ryan Carlisle Thomas, she is able to pursue her passion for ensuring
that people are aware of their rights and entitlements and she is committed
to achieving just outcomes for her clients.
Linda is a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance.
Leah Hickey – Articled

Leah graduated from the combined degree of Law (with honours) and Arts (Media
and Communications) from the University of Melbourne in 2007.
Leah is passionate about personal injury law and workers rights. She specialises in Workcover and Comcare at our Melbourne office. Leah is an active member of both the Australian Lawyers Alliance and the Law Institute of Victoria.
Outside of the law, Leah has a keen interest in local and international politics.
Vera Jonceski – Supervised
Workplace Trainee
Vera completed an Arts/Laws degree with Honours at Monash University in 2007
and started working at Ryan Carlisle Thomas in December 2008.
During her studies, she volunteered at Casey-Cardinia Legal Service, the Family Law Assistance Program at Monash Oakleigh Legal Service and Youthlaw. She continues to volunteer at Casey-Cardinia, where she is a member.
Anthony McKay – Articled

Anthony graduated from Deakin University Geelong in law with honours prior
to commencing his articled clerkship with the firm in 2008.
Before starting university, Anthony lived in Dublin, Ireland, for 5 years and travelled extensively throughout USA, Europe and Asia. He has previously worked with people with disabilities as a disability employment officer for various not-for-profit organizations and completed a bachelor of commerce with honours.
Anthony enjoys camping, fishing and all water sports and is a keen, and more recently a long suffering, Carlton supporter.
